Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah works as an Indian playback actress, singer and musician. Her main work involves focused on Tamil or Malayalam-language movies. Her first appearance as an actor was in the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam in addition to her Malayalam debut with Annayum is in the film. Andrea Jeremiah was born in Anglo-Indian born at Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Her father works as a lawyer in the Madras High Court. She has an older sister currently working and living in Leuven Belgium working as a Research assistant. Jeremiah was born in the vicinity of Chennai, went to National Public School before graduating from Women's Christian College. She has said that she was a enthusiast and wanted to be psychiatrist when she passed the 12th grade of her board exams.Andrea was a classical pianist when she was just eight. When she was 10, she was in a Jackson Five-style troupe called Young Stars which formed the foundation of her performing and music composition career. She performed as an actor at her university and participated in several plays produced through The Madras Players, EVAM as well as other theatre companies. Andrea was president of the Student Senate at Women's Christian College. Andrea began her acting career as an infant performer as a child actor in Girish Karnad Nagamandala. She was featured in the Leo Coffee commercial alongside Shiva. She also acted in a TV show which aired on Podhigai. She acted throughout India. She was in a small role during the climax of Kanda Naal Mudhal (2005). Gautham Menon enlisted Andrea to play the lead role after she performed in the film Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. Andrea plays Kalyani as a wife and mother whose man has an affair. Andrea was part of the cast in the aftermath of Simran, Tabu, and Tabu had been approached. It was released early in 2010. The film was released in August 2011. Venkat Prabhu launched his multi-starrer Mankatha. It was her turn to take on a lesser supporting role. In 2013 she was the first to debut in Malayalam film with Rajeev Ravi's romance film Annayum Rasoolum.
