Angela Sun
Angela Sun is a journalist film maker, documentary journalist and TV host. Angela Sun is a multi-award award-winning journalist, sportscaster and producer. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in communications and sociology from the University of California. Sun had outstanding surfing skills. Following her participation in a few pro-am surfer events, she was sponsored by Roxy Reef Billabong Vans and other big brands. It was the recognition she gained from participating in these events that propelled Sun into the world of entertainment. Later she worked as an journalist, actress, sportscaster reporter, as well as film director. Sun was an anchor for a variety of news networks, mostly as anchor. She was a Fox Sports Net correspondent in 2003. In addition, she co-hosted American Ninja Warrior in 2012 together with Matt Iseman, Jonny Mosley and Jill Moseley. In 2014 Sun hosts The Yahoo Sports Minute. She is the only Asian-American to ever appear as a host on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports Tennis Channel. Sun's acting abilities have gained her the attention of her peers. She has worked in movies such as Goliath (2016) Hit the Floor ( 2014-2016) A Perfect Getaway ( 2009) Shackled (2005) Street Kings (2008) and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2004). Sun's feature-length document Platic Paradise The Great Pacific Garbage Patch was a documentary about the negative effects of plastic pollution on the oceans. She wrote, directed and produced the film herself.
